The episode starts at a charity casino based on a large boat. This was filmed with the ship docked on the south side of Dodge Island/Port of Miami.

Symington leaves the party so C+T have to break off and follow him back to his apartment. While there, they see Symington go a long way down. Luckily the ground is there to break his fall and this leads Crockett to one of his quintessential lines: “ It ain’t the bluebird of happiness.” This was filmed on location at 1000 Venetian Way. We previously saw this used in Heart of Darkness as the location of Artie’s pad and the pool where Penny is found dead.

Then we see the standard season 3 opening montage.

Goof: clearly visible is a lighting screen used to reflect light up at the action as Symington is tossed over the railing.

Goof: We also see what is clearly a mannequin fall with it’s head toward the building but when we see the body the orientation is 180 degrees opposite with the head toward C+T.

As Act 1 opens we see Vanity packing rapidly to get out of town. This was also filmed at 1000 Venetian Way.

Then we cut to the OCB filmed on set at Greenwich Studios.

Then we go to Togaru’s place. Location unknown but it has every indication of being a set at the studio.

Then we see C+T at the society woman’s boat who put on the charity bash. This was filmed with the boat docked about midway along the south side of the Port Of Miami/Dodge Island. She has grown up since she gave the beaver his first kiss on the Leave It To Beaver television series.

This leads them to Izzy’s studio. Filmed on location at 244 Biscayne Blvd, in Downtown Miami. The interior also seems to have been filmed there, on location. A new building was constructed on this site in 2007.

Then we see C+T arrive at Ali’s place. Filmed on location at 1000 Venetian Way.

Then we see an establishing shot of the Dinner Key Marina.

Then we cut to Crockett who is on the phone getting a date. This was filmed at the Port of Miami with the Rickenbacker Causeway seen in the background.

Then they meet for dinner. This was filmed in the pool area of 1000 Venetian Way. This is where we found Penny murdered in Heart of Darkness.

Then we cut to the interior of Christine’s. Here Sonny gets shut down (for the night) and Ali shows up for help. Location unknown but probably filmed at 1000 Venetian Way.

Then we see an exterior establishing shot of the OCB. This is reused footage from episode 31, Bought and Paid for. It may have been filmed during the filming of Cool Runnin’ as some of the same vehicles are seen but it is not seen exactly the same in that episode. It is seen exactly the same in Bought and Paid For. The vehicles we see are likely the vehicles of crew members being driven by the crew members under direction.

Then we go inside (studio set).

Then we return to Izzy’s at 244 Biscayne Blvd.

This shot of the exterior of Izzy’s place was an important shot preserving the look of this section. At the far left of the screen we see a stairway and unique wrought iron railing that was key in identifying another Vice location, Biscayne General which we saw used in Florence Italy, Little Prince, and Give A Little Take A Little.

As seen in Florence Italy

Next we see an exterior establishing shot of Christine’s. This was filmed at the Grove Towers, 2843 South Bayshore Drive, Coconut Grove. We have seen this location used in Burn Notice in episodes: Old Friends, Entry Point and Enemy of My Enemy.

Then we go up to Christine’s balcony. This was filmed on the east side of 1000 Venetian Way, not at the Grove Towers.

Then we cut to nighttime and we see Stan downstairs watching the front of 1000 Venetian Way.

Then we see Crockett upstairs with Christine on her balcony.

They go inside and get to know each other better.

Then we see Ali being silenced, permanently.

Location unknown.

Then we see Vice investigating the murder. This may have been filmed at 1000 Venetian Way but I will have to go there to confirm this.

Then we see C+T at a high rise office building where they visit both the escort service and Christine’s office. The lobby was filmed at Brickell Square, 801 Brickell Avenue, Miami.

Then we see Crockett at Christine’s. It is assumed they are at 1000 Venetian Way but not enough is seen to determine where this was filmed. Location unknown.

Next, we see Crockett inside the OCB (studio set) watching Christine on television. She is on a boat docked on the south side of Dodge Island.

Orders go out to arrest Christine. Filmed on set at the studio.

We then see Crockett talk with Christine in the interrogation room. A set at Greenwich Studios.

Then we go to Kenneth’s place. This has every indication of being a set but I have not confirmed this yet.

Crockett and Stan listen in from the van. This was no doubt filmed at the studio.

Then we go to the briefing. Filmed on set at the studio.

Then we see C+T at Kenneth’s place. Believed to be a set.

During the shootout our heroes are unharmed despite being out gunned, out manned and out positioned. Christine shoots Sulu with a semi-auto but is then seen holding a revolver, ooopps.

Then we see an establishing shot of the Biscayne Bay Yacht Club from atop the Double Tree Hotel shooting over the Verrick Arena. This is reused footage from Forgive Us Our Debts.

Then we cut to the St. Vitus Dance. This was filmed with the St. Vitus Dance tied up mid way along the south side of Dodge Island/Port Of Miami. This is the fourth location we see used as Crockett’s home port. Bayside, Villa Regina, Watson Island, and now Dodge Island. Christine says goodbye to a background of great music.
